Dr Brian Wallace
MBBS (USyd), BSc(Hons) (USyd), PhD (USyd), FACD
Dr Wallace is a specialist dermatologist and is fully trained in all aspects of medical and surgical dermatology. He has a keen interest in the management of skin cancers both surgically and non surgically.
Dr Wallace completed his medical education at the University of Sydney and was a student at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Dr Wallace completed his Fellowship from the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD). Prior to his medical studies, he completed a BSc(Hons) and a PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Sydney. Dr Wallace’s dermatology training was completed at Concord Hospital, St Vincents Hospital, John Hunter Hospital and Westmead Hospital. In addition, Dr Wallace has completed numerous placements in rural NSW.
Dr Wallace has a keen interest in research and has published in various peer-reviewed journals, both locally and internationally, and has presented at various domestic conferences.
He is a senior lecturer (clinical) at The University of Western Sydney and teaches suturing workshops for final year medical students. Dr Wallace also teaches dermatology to medical students at The Skin Hospital, Westmead where he also works as a specialist dermatologist.
Dr Wallace is dedicated to the best possible care of his patients and seeks to ensure patients benefit from the most up-to-date, evidence-based treatments available. Whilst doing his utmost to run on time, on occasion Brian can run a little late… He is the Dad to three awesome kids.
